More and more, children and young adults spend most of their time within confined spaces, disconnected from the natural world. Even children that live in rural areas know very little about their environment and the nature that surrounds them. Through the environmental education and communication program, SELVA seeks to reconnect young people with nature and to get them interested in science and research. We want to help people generate a sense of belonging towards their natural resources and biodiversity and to provide the tools necessary to protect and use these resources in a sustainable way.
