Since 1990 Partners in Flight has worked to bring together scientists, conservationists and land managers with a view to reversing the delines of Neartic-Neotropical birds. Between the 25th and 28th August 2013, Partners in Flight will hold its fifth international meeting, designed to generate “buisness plans” for the future of migratory birds. SELVA, alongside Environment Canada and ProNatura, Mexico will be running a special session on migratory bottlenecks and stopover sites in the Neotropics, during which members of SELVA will give two presentations on our work in northern Colombia. The results of this session will be integrated into the buisness plans, ensuring that critical stopover sites such as those in northern Colombia are not left out.
